RealWorld Expertise.LAN
New Features in Version 6
Starting
with the Version 6 release, RealWorld Expertise.LAN is
the new name for RealWorld Visual Accounting.
Below are some of the enhancements for Version 6.
- Line
item notes in both Sales Order and Purchase Order
modules now have up to 4,096 characters of free
form text per line, not just per order.
- You
can display the item code and description in the
detail lines window of Sales Order and Accounts
Receivable.
- Each
invoice can now be used to accumulate for 1099
purposes by choosing the 1099 Applicable flag in
both Purchase order and Accounts Payable.
- Report
Writer now has bitmapped fonts, with font
controls.
- Each
window now has "edit desktop"
functions. You can add reports, quick entry
forms, and other menu options to any window in
the system.
- Multi-Currency
is a full FASB 52-compliant module with gain/loss
reporting and range of negotiated rates per
vendor/customer.
- Data
Manager Import Scripts allow you to export all
files at one time and import them in one step!
- Expertise.LAN
has always been Year 2000 compliant. However, the
field displays have been increased to display the
four-digit year.
- The
GL date is now stored in Aphist file so the prior
period aging is much easier and faster.
- Customer-suspend
flag has been added to the AR master file so you
can halt all transactions to the customer
regardless of credit status.
- A
zero (0) cost dialog box has been added to
Inventory Management posting routines.
Transactions that create a 0 cost layer amount
are now flagged.
- Packing
slips now update AR batches with the date of
shipment in the Arhist file.
- In
mass mode, the SO Packing slip function allows
you to print the picking ticket and process the
invoices.
- Display
AR customer address and AR ship-to address in
Sales Order. In Edit SO, the cust info button now
displays the entire customer address.
- Not
all customers require a PO. Now you can set the
flag in AR customer file when you require a PO.
- Cash
receipts can now be entered, edited, printed and
then posted in batch mode.
- Look
up fields painted with background color for
easier identification.
- Look
and feel is updated with this background color
function to allow for easier identification on
every window.
- All
popups and worksheets painted every other row.
